- at least 15 double-crested cormorants
- one belted kingfisher
- 6 rabbits, one of them an adorable wee kitten!
- several mountain chicadees, red-winged blackbirds, mallards, great blue herons, eastern kingbirds and killdeer(s), and squirrels.
- countless cliff swallows, robins, crows, starlings, doves, sparrows, common grackles.
- the ubiquitous prairie dogs
- I'm learning how to really savor the little kamikaze bugs, when they don't end up in my wind pipe.
